The Challenge
A 100% sterile, easy-to-clean floor solution highly resistant to wheeled stretcher/device traffic required by the hospital environment was needed. In addition, a strong infrastructure preparation was mandatory due to the intense wear of the old floor.
Our Professional Solution
After smoothing the floor with smart screed, Homogeneous PVC rolls suitable for heavy traffic, with antistatic and antibacterial properties, were applied with special acrylic adhesives. The joints were melted and combined with a hot air welding machine, eliminating all joints where microbes could shelter.
